Privacy
This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
If you don't sign in
Your plan stays in your browser's local storage. All calculations run on your device. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If you sign in with Google
We store:
- Your Google account's name, email address and a unique account ID. Google tells us these when you sign in; we never see your Google password.
- The scenarios you save: the numbers you entered, such as income, spending, investments and children's ages and names as you typed them.
- One cookie,
kr_session, which keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. It is needed for sign-in to work and isn't used for tracking. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it.
Why: only to save your scenarios and sync them across your devices. We don't sell or share your data, use it for advertising, or use it to profile you. Only your signed-in account can read or change your scenarios; our server checks this on every request.
Where: Cloudflare, which runs our server and database. Data may be processed outside India on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Google handles the sign-in step itself.
How long: until you delete it. Deleting a scenario removes it straight away. The button below erases everything and closes your account.
Your rights
You can access, correct or erase your data at any time. Everything you've saved is visible and editable in the calculator. To withdraw consent and erase everything:
Grievance officer
For any other request, or a complaint about how your data is handled, email kedaru2992@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 7 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Share links
When you share a plan, its numbers are packed into the link itself, after the #. Browsers never send that part to a server, so we don't see or store shared plans. Anyone you give the link to can read the numbers. By default, names of children, loans and goals are replaced with generic labels.
Children
This tool is meant for adults planning their own finances. Children's ages and names are used only in your own calculations; you can use labels such as “Child 1” instead of names.
